One of the trademark known all over the world is  Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s official London residence. The Palace is located between the Green Park, Hyde Park and St. James’s Park, where you can relax sitting in the middle of nature.

What makes the Palace so visited is not only the curiosity for the Family he hosts, but also the Changing of Guard ceremony that takes place in the forecourt of the palace at 11.30 every day in summer, and every other day in winter.

Although Buckingham Palace is used for the official events held by the Queen, visitors can visit a part of it.

The Palace has 775 rooms, composed of 19 State rooms, 52 Royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms, 92 offices and 78 bathrooms.

The incredible number of rooms is decorated and furnished with inestimable works of art, part of the Royal Collection.

The last of the suite rooms on the principal floor is the White Drawing Romm, maybe the biggest of the State Rooms.

This is the room where The Queen and the members of all the Royal family gather before official occasions.

In front of the palace there is the Victoria Memorial, the golden statue dedicated to Queen Victoria.

The Royal Mews, however, houses the State vehicles used by the Royal family during some important events, such as weddings and State visit.

Buckingham Palace is a stop you have absolutely to do on your journey to London.
